Create a Store on DZBuild: Step-by-Step Setup Guide (2026)

Create a store on DZBuild in 6 steps: 3-day Pro trial with no card, custom domain, delivery prices per wilaya (province), Yalidine, ZR Express and Ecotrack links, then paying the plan with WELCOME15.

Create a Store on DZBuild: Step-by-Step Setup Guide (2026)

To create a store on DZBuild, plan for six steps: open an account, set up the store, add products and delivery prices per wilaya, link your couriers, switch on alerts and card payments, then choose a plan before the trial runs out. Every step below follows DZBuild's official documentation, read on 3 November 2026.

DZBuild is an Algerian online-store builder designed around cash on delivery (COD). Every new store starts with a 3-day Pro trial, no card required. After that, subscriptions start at 1,000 DZD (Algerian dinars) a month for the Pro plan (price read on 3 November 2026 on the official pricing page).

This DZBuild tutorial goes from sign-up to the first order handed to a courier. Our full verdict on the platform is in our DZBuild review.

At a glance

  • DZBuild free trial: 3 days of Pro, once per store, no card.
  • Language: storefront and dashboard in Arabic or French only; English exists only on DZBuild's documentation site.
  • Address: a free .dzbuild.app subdomain; a DZBuild custom domain with automatic SSL from Pro.
  • Delivery: Yalidine, ZR Express and couriers on the Ecotrack network.
  • Buyer payments: COD by default, plus CIB or Edahabia cards (Algeria's interbank card and Algérie Poste's debit card) through your own Chargily Pay or Slick-Pay account.
  • Subscription: CIB/Edahabia card, BaridiMob receipt or international card.

Before you create a store on DZBuild: what to prepare

The editorial team's view. For an Algerian merchant selling on COD, DZBuild is our first choice. This editorial assessment rests on verifiable criteria: COD built into every store, prices in dinars, a subscription payable with local methods, storefronts in Arabic and French, and more than 102 supported delivery companies according to the company, which also says it takes no commission on sales. Our comparison of e-commerce platforms in Algeria sets it against the other options.

The trial lasts only 3 days, so prepare first:

  • A real email address (disposable addresses are refused) and an Algerian mobile number (10 digits starting with 0, or 12 digits starting with 213).
  • The store name and slug (your .dzbuild.app address): 3 to 30 characters, lowercase letters, digits and hyphens. The slug cannot be changed later.
  • Product listings: photos, descriptions, selling and cost prices.
  • A merchant account with at least one courier, with API access switched on. For Yalidine, DZBuild notes that API access usually requires a verified business account.
  • Optional: a domain name you already own, and a Chargily Pay or Slick-Pay account for card payments.

If you are starting from zero, begin with our guide on how to start an online store in Algeria.

Step 1: Create your account and start the DZBuild free trial

  1. Open the DZBuild sign-up page.
  2. Enter your first name, last name, email, phone number and a password (at least 8 characters).
  3. Tick the verification box, then submit. Until the box is ticked, the button does nothing.
  4. Enter the 6-digit code sent to your inbox. It is valid for 15 minutes and can be resent after 60 seconds.
  5. On the store-creation screen, fill in the name, the slug, the store type and the language (Arabic or French).

Choose the "physical products" type: only it shows the shipping-rates and courier-linking menus.

The storefront goes live straight away, on Pro for 3 days. If no plan is paid when the trial ends, visitors see a "store currently unavailable" page, but nothing is deleted.

Step 2: Theme, checkout and DZBuild custom domain

DZBuild offers 7 themes and 5 fast-checkout designs. Starter and Brico work on every plan, Showcase (listed as "Started V2", the default for physical stores) needs Pro, Prestige and Bloom need Unlimited, and Promobi needs Enterprise; Digital is for digital-product stores.

Next, open the store settings (/dashboard/settings) and fill in at least the departure wilaya (province), the phone number and the WhatsApp number. The wilaya is required to sync Yalidine rates, and the WhatsApp number is the only contact shown on the order-confirmation page.

Connect your own domain name

The free .dzbuild.app address is fine for testing. For your own domain:

  1. Type it in on the domains page (/dashboard/domains).
  2. Follow the method shown: a CNAME on the root (@) pointing to link.dzbuild.app, or Cloudflare nameservers if your registrar refuses a root CNAME (Hostinger, GoDaddy and OVH among others).
  3. SSL is issued and renewed automatically.

Watch out: linking a domain needs a paid plan (the trial counts as one). If the subscription expires, the domain is disconnected roughly 12 hours later and has to be linked again.

Step 3: Products, landing pages and delivery prices per wilaya

First delete the sample category and T-shirt. Then add products one at a time, from a CSV or Excel file (up to 5,000 products) or from a Shopify store. The Pro plan allows 300 active products and 3 landing pages; the AI landing-page generator writes in Darija (Algerian Arabic) for 20 AI credits per page.

Delivery prices are set per wilaya. The store starts with default home-delivery and stop-desk prices for all 58 wilayas. A stop desk is a carrier pickup point where the buyer collects the parcel. Review these prices on the shipping-rates page (/dashboard/shipping) before you sell. For each wilaya you set:

  • a home-delivery price;
  • a stop-desk price;
  • a delivery time.

Once a courier is linked (step 4), Sync rates from provider pulls in your negotiated rates, which you can then adjust. Buyers see the stop-desk option only in wilayas where you switch it on, and real pickup-point lists sync from 14 couriers. To weigh the two delivery modes, read stop desk vs home delivery.

Step 4: DZBuild Yalidine integration, ZR Express and Ecotrack

The path is the same for every courier: on the courier-linking page (/dashboard/link-shipping), open your company's tile, click Lier (Link), paste your credentials, click Tester la connexion (Test connection), then Lier et enregistrer (Link and save). DZBuild uses your own courier accounts and does not negotiate or resell rates; your coverage comes from your account with the courier.

Yalidine

  • Credentials: the API ID and API Token from your Yalidine merchant account.
  • Prerequisite: the store's wilaya must be filled in, or the rate sync fails.
  • Synced data: wilayas, communes (municipalities), home and stop-desk rates per wilaya, and the list of stop desks.
  • Same integration for Yalitec, Guepex, Easy & Speed, Economiqua and We Can Services, which share Yalidine's API. Each one is linked on its own tile with its own credentials.
  • COD cap: 150,000 DZD per parcel, under Yalidine's general transport conditions.

For rates and tracking, see our Yalidine guide.

ZR Express

  • One tile covers both platforms: Secret Key + Tenant ID (new platform) or Token + Key (legacy Procolis platform). The connection test tries both.
  • Stop desks: only the new platform supplies a named list of offices.
  • COD amount: DZBuild sends the order total, products plus shipping.

Couriers on the Ecotrack network

Ecotrack is not a courier but software used by many Algerian delivery companies. Pick your own company's tile (DHD, Conexlog, MSM Go, WorldExpress…): 82 couriers on the network have one, according to DZBuild's documentation. One bearer token is enough; otherwise, the Ecotrack personnalisé (custom Ecotrack) tile takes the instance address and the token. More in our Ecotrack guide.

When you ship, orders go to the courier in batches of 50. Per DZBuild's documentation overview, tracking updates on its own every 2 to 3 hours (the "Receive your first order" page of the same documentation mentions a courier check roughly every 15 minutes), and Refresh from courier on each order forces an update.

Step 5: Order alerts, pixels and card payments

Alerts. Connect Telegram from the notifications page (/dashboard/notifications): each alert carries Confirm and Cancel buttons. Suspicious orders (bots, duplicates, spam) go to a Spam tab, where you can restore them. Call every customer before shipping: according to DZBuild's documentation, refused parcels are usually the ones nobody called about. Full method in our guide to reducing your COD return rate.

Pixels. Meta, TikTok, Snapchat and Pinterest pixels with server-side conversions are supported, plus Google Analytics, Tag Manager and Ads. Pro allows one pixel per type.

Card payments. COD stays on by default. To accept CIB and Edahabia too, connect your own account under Settings › Payment methods; the money lands with you, never with DZBuild.

  • Slick-Pay: add your bank account or CCP (Algérie Poste current account) in Slick-Pay, then paste the public key, choose who pays the fees and test. Published fees: 1.4% to 2% per transaction depending on how often you withdraw (read on 3 November 2026 on Slick-Pay's site). Slick-Pay's terms require a commercial register.
  • Chargily Pay: to take real payments, your account and application must be verified by the Chargily team.
  • Only one of the two can be connected at a time.

For companies registered outside Algeria, DZBuild says buyers can also pay by Visa or Mastercard through the merchant's own Stripe account. For a comparison of gateways, see our guide to online payment in Algeria.

Step 6: Choose a plan and pay your subscription

The three plans (monthly prices read on 3 November 2026 on the pricing page):

  • Pro: 1,000 DZD a month, with 300 products, 3 landing pages and 1 staff account.
  • Unlimited: 2,500 DZD a month, with unlimited products and landing pages and 3 staff accounts.
  • Enterprise: from 5,500 DZD a month with 25 staff accounts, or 15,000 DZD a month with unlimited staff.

You pay for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. Twelve months cost the price of ten: 10,000 DZD instead of 12,000 for Pro. The subscription page (/dashboard/subscribe) offers three payment methods:

  1. CIB or Edahabia card (on Slick-Pay's payment page): immediate activation; no automatic renewal.
  2. BaridiMob receipt (Algérie Poste's mobile banking app): transfer to the RIP (postal account identifier) shown, then upload a screenshot of the receipt for manual review.
  3. International card: billed in US dollars, with auto-renew ticked by default. DZBuild suggests it to anyone without a CIB or Edahabia card enabled for online payments.

Watch out: under the terms of service, only international-card payments can be refunded (within 14 days); CIB/Edahabia and BaridiMob payments are final.

DZBuild promo code: use the code WELCOME15 to get 15% off your first payment.

Next steps: place a test order, confirm it and send it to your courier to check the whole chain. Then compare couriers with our comparison of delivery companies in Algeria and read the DZBuild company profile.

Frequently asked questions

How long is the DZBuild free trial?
Every new store gets 3 days of the Pro plan, with no card required. The 3 days are fixed and run once per store: they cannot be extended or restarted. If no plan is paid when the trial ends, the storefront goes offline, but products, orders and settings are kept.
Can I use my own domain name on DZBuild?
Yes, from the Pro plan (the trial counts as a paid plan). On the domains page you add either a CNAME pointing to link.dzbuild.app or the Cloudflare nameservers shown in the dashboard. The SSL certificate is automatic. If the subscription expires, the domain is disconnected roughly 12 hours later.
How do I connect Yalidine to my DZBuild store?
Get your API ID and API Token from your Yalidine merchant account and set the store wilaya (province) in the settings. Then open the courier-linking page, click Lier (Link) on the Yalidine tile, paste both values, test the connection and save. Finally, sync the rates per wilaya.
How can I pay my DZBuild subscription?
The subscription page offers three methods: CIB or Edahabia card through Slick-Pay, activated immediately; a BaridiMob receipt, checked manually; or an international card charged in US dollars. Under the terms of service, only international-card payments are refundable within 14 days; local payments are final.
How do I get 15% off my first DZBuild payment?
Use the promo code WELCOME15, which gives 15% off the first payment of your DZBuild subscription. Choose your plan and duration (1, 3, 6 or 12 months) first, because payments by CIB, Edahabia or BaridiMob are final.
