What Chargily Pay does

Chargily Pay is the online payment gateway of Chargily, a fintech company operating in Algeria. It lets a website, an app or a seller without a website collect CIB (SATIM) and EDAHABIA (Algérie Poste) card payments in Algerian dinars. According to its About page, the company started in 2015 as Nessplus Telecom, became Chargily in 2019 when it moved into e-payments, and says it secured a capital raise in 2022 (no amount published).

Services

  • Hosted checkout pages created through the REST API V2, shown in Arabic, French or English.
  • Payment links, with "no website required" according to the company.
  • QR code payments and a "chargily_app" method tied to the Chargily app wallet.
  • Signed webhooks (an HMAC computed with the secret key) and a test mode without real money.
  • Open-source SDKs and plugins, including PHP/Laravel, Python, JavaScript, WooCommerce/WordPress, Shopify and Odoo.

Pricing and how it works

Prices read on 3 November 2026 on the official pricing page: every new client gets the free Starter plan, covering 300 transactions or 300,000 DZD of volume. After that: Comfort at 1.5% per transaction (15 to 1,500 DZD, 1 free payout per month, balance held 72h), Supreme at 3% (30 to 3,000 DZD, 2 free payouts, 48h) and Elite at 4.5% (45 to 4,500 DZD, 4 free payouts, 24h). Extra withdrawals cost 1.5% (min 150 DZD); refunds cost 2% (20 to 2,000 DZD). The company says there is no subscription or activation fee. The merchant decides whether the fee is paid by the merchant, the customer, or split. To take real payments, the user account and the application must be verified by the Chargily team. DZBuild lets store owners connect their own Chargily Pay account.

Things to watch

  • Visa and Mastercard are announced as coming soon: no international card payments today.
  • A higher percentage buys more free payouts and faster balance release, so compare plans against your volume.
  • The developer docs Fees page still advertises 0% fees in the first month, which differs from the pricing page; offers can change.
  • The entity shown is Chargily Inc., with a Delaware (US) address on Google Play.
  • Chargily Pay does not handle delivery or cash on delivery.
